LIFE GROUPS MEET IN A HOME
Acts 2:46-47a And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people….
Life doesn't happen without a home. In the Early Church, smaller groups of Christians were able to meet and share life together, such as meals or help meet needs, in each other's homes.
LIFE GROUPS BUILD COMMUNITY
There is something about one’s home that helps foster a depth of community that cannot be achieved in a church building or on a Sunday morning. Homes helped build such strong community in the Early Church that it prepared them for whatever came their way as followers of Jesus.
LIFE GROUPS HELPS OTHERS SEE
Life Groups not only provide a platform for "growing up" in Jesus through community, it is also a platform for allowing those who have no idea who Jesus is, to see Jesus more clearly.
